Who we are and how to reach us

GroupBlaster is a Chrome extension and companion website (groupblaster.marbelona.com) operated by Marbelona. In this policy, “GroupBlaster”, “we”, and “us” refer to the operator of the service.

Questions about this policy or your data — including requests to delete your account and associated data — can be sent to i@marbelona.com.

What stays in your browser

The extension is local-first. Your groups, campaigns, post drafts, schedules, posting history, and settings are stored in your browser's extension storage (chrome.storage), scoped per logged-in Facebook account.

That data does not leave your browser unless a feature explicitly needs our servers — usage counters and billing, described below. Uninstalling the extension removes it.

Facebook identity we read — and nothing more

To tell which Facebook account you are using, the extension reads three cosmetic pieces of information from the page you already have open: your numeric user ID, your display name, and your profile picture URL.

We deliberately do not read or store your Facebook cookies, tokens, passwords, messages, or any hidden session data. We never ask for your Facebook credentials.

Data that reaches our servers

When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID, name, and email address to create and identify your GroupBlaster account.

We store your subscription tier and usage counters (posts made and campaigns created) so limits and billing work across devices. Feedback you submit through the exit survey is stored so we can improve the product.

How we use your data

We use the data above only to operate GroupBlaster: to deliver your campaigns, enforce free-tier limits, keep posting at a safe pace, process subscriptions, and respond when you contact us.

We do not use your content to train models, build advertising profiles, or anything outside running the service you asked for.

Payments

Paid plans are handled by Polar, which collects payment details and processes charges. GroupBlaster never sees or stores your full card number. Polar's own privacy policy governs that data.

What we never do

We do not sell or rent your data, run third-party advertising trackers in the extension or on this site, or access your Facebook account beyond the cosmetic identity described above.

Retention and deletion

Local data is removed when you uninstall the extension. Server-side account data is kept while your account exists — you can request deletion at any time by emailing i@marbelona.com, and we will confirm when it is done.

Third-party services

Google (sign-in), Polar (billing), Cloudflare (API and website hosting), and Facebook/Meta (the platform the extension works on) process limited data as described above. Each is governed by its own privacy policy.

Children

GroupBlaster is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version, and material changes appear on this page.
